Production Management Graduate Programme
We’re the farmer-owned dairy cooperative behind global brands like Arla®, Lurpak® and Castello® and our 19,000-strong team of passionate people have helped us become the fifth largest dairy company in the world and the largest producer of organic dairy products. We’ve got a strong strategy for growing our business and one for growing our colleagues too. We’ve got a high performing culture and we have great ambitions. We offer challenging tasks, diversity throughout and plenty of development opportunities in a dynamic environment where change is an everyday occurrence.
FUTURE LEADERS WANTED
The purpose of the Production Management Graduate Programme is to ensure a strong pipeline of talented technical graduates who possess the intellectual power, drive and innovative ambition to take over strategic positions and pursue an international career at our production sites worldwide in the future.
A UNIQUE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY
We will ensure that you get the right challenges at the right time to unfold your potential, show us what you got and get the opportunity to make your efforts count. You will solve assignments and business-critical tasks for one or more members of the management team at the production site. Spending 18 months at your primary production site and 6 months at a production site abroad will give you a solid understanding of the business and the possibility to impact both business and people.
Graduate projects are often related to:
- Production optimization for sustainability and cost-consciousness
- Facilitation of lean principles implementation
- Quality and process management
- Projects to meet technical, production and logistical challenges
WHERE FUTURE LEADERS ARE PRODUCED
Being part of our graduate programme means that you will join assigned leadership training camps in different markets, focusing on leading yourself, leading change, leading others and driving business. In addition, on-the-job as well as functional training will be closely linked to your role in the organisation. Lastly, you will receive close collaboration with the programme manager and mentoring to ensure your professional growth and support throughout your journey with Arla. Here, you are not just part of Arla, but you are part of an extraordinary network with your fellow graduates and colleagues accompanied by an exceptional support system.
WHAT MAKES A PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT GRADUATE?
You have graduated in the last 1-3 years or plan to graduate by September 2022, with either a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree. Preferably within Dairy, food science, engineering or production related subjects, but we are open for other backgrounds.
On one hand, you are ambitious, analytical and result-oriented. On the other, you are a curious and open-minded person who will take pride in working with global scale production at one of our sites. You enjoy the 'learning by doing' principle and you are not afraid to ask questions. You are ambitious and ‘ambition’ not only concerns your own performance but also to enable others to succeed.
