Quick facts about the programme:

  • Programme length: 18 months
  • Applications for 2026 years program will open during Q4 2025
  • Permanent fulltime placement with market salary
  • Educational background: Min. Master degree within electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy engineering, physics, material science, chemical engineering, technical commercial degree, or finance
  • Locations: Will be announced Q4/2025
  • Other requirements: Excellent knowledge of English, local language is considered a strong asset. Permanent authorization to work in hosting country or EU/CH/NO citizenship.
  • Content: Job rotations, international internship, tailored trainings, business project

Set up of the program

Our international graduate programme extends over 18 months and you will be employed from day one with all benefits our employees normally have.

The programme consists of a combination between theory and job rotations, both domestic and international. The setup of the graduate programme will give you a unique possibility to learn about our industry, customer needs and key competitors as well as about our company from ground and up. You will work in an international environment, across functions and establish a strong company network. The experience include both theoretical as well as practical aspects, and our common training modules will give you exciting opportunities to bond with other programme participants and senior company representatives.

The NKT Graduate programme will give you a solid foundation to stand as you progress your career with us. You will have have a chance to tailor your own experience according to your own ambitions, passions and business needs. Upon completion of the graduate programme, you will have a permanent position within your location.

At the factory in Karlskrona, NKT is designing, developing and manufacturing the high-voltage power cable solutions enabling the transition to renewable energy.
