Consulting vs. Development Roles
Consulting Track
A consultant at Infor creates functional and technical solutions to address our customers’ needs. You’ll learn and practice implementation methodology, consulting skills, and industry business practices. The program blends customer projects with targeted education, giving you the chance to meet other trainees and work on real-world customer challenges.

Consulting roles include:

  • Business Consultant: Focus on understanding business processes and designing solutions that help customers thrive.
  • Technical Consultant: Specialize in technical implementations and support, bridging the gap between business needs and technology.

Development Track
A software developer at Infor is a super user of our applications, designing new functions and features, maintaining, testing, and documenting, or focusing on coding. The developer training introduces you to architectural and functional specifics for cloud solutions, deployed framework, and programming standards.

Development roles include:

  • Business Analyst: Analyze requirements, design functional solutions, and support colleagues as an application expert.
  • Software Engineer: Work across the full product lifecycle – design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement – building deep technical expertise

At Infor, we’re looking for Early Talents who are ready to grow and make possible happen. We offer two distinct career paths:

Consulting Roles

You’ll fit in if you have:

  • Education in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A genuine interest in business processes and technology.
  • Willingness to travel and possess a driving license.
  • Good level of Swedish and English.
  • Results-oriented personality and a “can-do” attitude.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Able to work in teams yet can work independently.
  • No prior technical background/ERP experience required.

Development Roles

You’ll fit in if you have:

  • Education in Software Engineering, Systems Science, Innovative Programming, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A passion for technology and software development.
  • Programming experience in Java or similar modern languages.
  • Good level of English.
  • Results-oriented personality and a “can-do” attitude.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Able to work in teams yet can work independently.
