AstraZeneca Global Operations and IS Graduate Program

Which is why we look for the very best graduates to work in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Quality and Information Services (IS). Employing 12,000 people at 18 sites in 16 countries, Operations is one of the largest areas of our business and works to bring together people, equipment, services, supplies and places.

What do we offer?
Working across Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and  IS, you'll gain in-depth exposure to a complex area of our business. The program consists of three placements over the first two years, including a period of at least three months overseas. A third year is spent consolidating your capabilities.

Each role carries genuine influence, not to mention real opportunities to develop your skills and work towards professional qualifications. The more you learn about how our business operates, the more responsibilities you'll be given, and the more chances you'll have to contribute to improving world health.

How you'll develop
As a graduate in our program you'll benefit from broad professional training and work experience. You'll also be introduced to an extensive network of pharmaceutical professionals, and develop comprehensive understanding of the industry itself.

Every graduate is given a mentor from day one of the program – someone with extensive business experience. Mentors not only support you, they also challenge you to get the most out of your role.

What we’re looking for
This program is designed for graduates with no more than three years of work experience. You should have:

- BA, BSc, or MSc degree (or equivalent) as a minimum, in any discipline
- Commercial and strategic acumen
- Strong leadership and collaborative capabilities
- Global cultural awareness and influencing skills
- Team-playing skills and plenty of energy
- Excellent analytical skills
- A valid passport and a willingness to live and work overseas
- Fluency in English, ideally with additional languages, especially Mandarin or Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese or Swedish.
