AstraZeneca, one of the world's leading biopharmaceutical companies, has developed a unique international programme for Graduates and Finance Professionals in their early career. Our aim is to attract, recruit and develop high caliber individuals and provide them with world-class opportunities and experience to ensure that they become the AstraZeneca Global Finance leaders of the future.

What do we offer?
The programme is a three year investment that offers broad professional training and work experience across diverse areas of the Company. We will give you real responsibility and opportunity for development.

The placements are set up as one year commitments. The roles are in various areas, for example, R&D, Marketing and Sales, Manufacturing, Strategic Planning and Business Development or Central Finance with Reporting, Tax and Treasury. We will continuously support your development as a leader through coaching, mentoring and your participation in the international network for "Young Finance Professionals" within AstraZeneca.

Placements start in September 2013 and will be based in London, Manchester or one of our sites in Sweden.

By giving you vital industry exposure, this programme is the perfect springboard to a senior position within AstraZeneca.

Qualifications
Where applicable AstraZeneca sponsors and supports training to become a CIMA Chartered Management Accountant. CIMA is the voice of global management accountancy, with over 164,000 members and students in 161 countries. CIMA train, support and protect their members and students through high standards of assessment and regulation, with AstraZeneca being a recognized employee provider of these professional training programmes.

What does it take?
You must have an outstanding academic record, with a BA, B.Sc. M.Sc. with a degree of minimum 2:1 (UK), 50% VG (SE) or equivalent. You must be fluent in English (verbal and written). An additional language is desirable. You must have evidence of meaningful work and leadership experience. You must be geographically mobile.

What will happen next?
After completing our online application form, we ask shortlisted applicants to undertake our online testing. We undertake a variety of online tests at different stages of the process and if you are selected to take the tests we will provide full details of exactly what you need to do. Please note that if you are one of the successful candidates, you will be asked to re-sit these tests at the final assessment day.

Applicants who are selected to our Assessment Centers will be given notice middle of December 2012. The events will be held over two days in February, 2013. We will cover all travel costs for the selected applicants to/from the event. The Assessment Centre provides the opportunity to really understand the programme, to meet the sponsors and discuss your potential career path in AstraZeneca Finance.
